Most of my clients are not marketing people, and they don’t need to be. They want someone who will help them distill their message with straightforward, thoughtful integrity and guide them to their “why” without compromising voice, values, or authenticity.

I work across web, social media, and email to build presence and put strategy in place. Elevator pitch version: I help people who are good at what they do market to the people looking for them so their talent(s) can be celebrated and capitalized upon. Because I believe in empowering every single one of my clients, my process is transparent and accessible so that marketing isn’t ambiguous or mysterious. My goal is for every client to feel like they can own their own process, whether they ultimately choose to take the reins or have me hold them.

My decades of marketing span across multimedia (at WGBH and PBS), academia (Harvard and Brandeis Universities), non-profits (The Crown Center for Middle East Studies, The Kempner Institute for Natural and Artificial Intelligence), and publishing (tech, academic, and individual authors).

The primary thing I’ve grown adept at remedying is the disconnect between great content and great marketing. While they shouldn’t be exclusive of one another, they often are — usually because the brilliant minds behind products, books, and teachings are so good at what they do that marketing is understandably not their forté. That’s where I come in.

From PBS and WGBH International’s first streaming platform to Harvard University’s Kempner Institute for Natural and Artificial Intelligence, I’ve launched, written copy for, and guided layout for a number of prominent and frequently visited sites.

Working alongside authors and researchers to distill, translate, and migrate complex content into maiden online presences and meaningful collateral, marketing to vast audiences is my specialty.

Launching social media channels and a podcast, writing copy, and designing images for consumers across academic, nonprofit, B2B, and publishing spaces, I’ve helped clients grow audiences through creating media personas, launching brand-specific newsletters, and expanding across a wide range of digital platforms.
